MIDI Orchestral Composition
When I was a senior in high school, I transposed a play into a musical (with the playwrights permission of course!). I was acting and student directing the play along with our faculty director. I wrote and produced the orchestral pieces using MIDI via Logic Pro X and Reason 3.0. This is one of my favorite projects I've ever done; getting to create huge pieces and teach them to my peers was truly a wonderful experience.
In 2007, my family built a fully-operational recording studio called Treehouse Productions. I grew up in a very musical home and in our spare time, my siblings and I would record covers of some of our favorite songs. I'm the lead singer and play piano on "I Would Do Anything For You" and a backup singer to my sister, Carli, on "How's It Gonna Be". Both videos below are videos that I produced fully.
Original Film Score
As long as I can remember, I've always been in love with film score. My freshman year at Drexel University, I collaborated on a few projects and this was the first. I composed some light score using MIDI and Logic Pro X. I only had a few days to work on it, but I wish I had longer. Not because it would have been much better, but because I just enjoyed it so much!
Songwriting and Vocal Performance
When I was 14, my older siblings and I had the opportunity to go down to Nashville for a summer and record a 4 song EP. We cowrote the songs with some of the best songwriters in Nashville and recorded them at Sound Kitchen with Kent Wells. We played a few live shows and even negotiated a major motion picture (A Warrior's Heart starring Kellen Lutz) movie deal and got two of our songs featured. I co-wrote "Without You" and sing lead vocals on all the tracks.
